Het Zwanenwater

Beachcombing Museum Callants

The interactive exhibits at the Beachcombing Museum at Callantsoog will make you shudder and laugh. Help a seagull fly, crack the secret code, scare away a monster, test your responsiveness and marvel at the weird and wonderful beachcomber finds.

Land van Fluwel Adventure Park

This fun-packed adventure park is just 10km from Qurios Callantsoog. Located in the beautiful North Holland countryside, Land van Fluwel has something for everyone, there’s even a playground for our youngest visitors. The ideal destination for adventure and to use up all your energy, Land van Fuwel is the perfect outing for the whole family.

Blanckendaell Park

In Blanckendael Park you’ll find more than 70 species of animal from all over the world, including monkeys, zebras, birds and giraffes. You’ll also enjoy the large playground with a merry-go-round, a train, a Dutch Farm Museum and a restaurant. It’s a wonderful day out!

Museum Farm ‘’Tante Jaantje”

Interested to know more about the history of Callantsoog? Then Tantje Jaantje is the place for you. There are local volunteers on hand to show and tell you about how life used to be in the village. as well as several different exhibitions. Fun for the whole family.


The village of Schorl is definitely worth a visit. It’s a short drive from Qurios Callantsoog, but we recommend that you go by bike. You’ll be treated to the most beautiful scenery on the route through the dunes past the coastal village of Petten aan Zee. Once in Schoorl why not visit the Klimduin; a sand dune with a height of more than 50m. It’s an unbeatable attraction for small children.

Take a stroll through the dunes

The water and the dunes offer endless (sporting) possibilities, ranging from surfing to mountain biking and boat trips to hiking. Enjoy beautiful routes through the dunes offering wonderful views across the fields in the polder.

Escape on Tour

Solve puzzles, complete challenges while enjoying some culture and biking. How creative are you and your teammates and can you work well together? Escape on Tour offers a cycle route of 10 km, taking in some of the most beautiful places in Callantsoog, where challenges and puzzles are waiting to be solved.

Sand Yachting/Kitesurfing

The sporty way to get a breath of fresh air! Feel the speed with the wind in your sails while sand yachting, or if you’d rather have an adventure on the water, grab your kite and fly over the waves. If you’re not an experienced kitesurfer or would rather try something else, contact the Callantsoog Surf School. They’ll be happy to give you more information. Kitesurfing is easy to learn.

Fort Kijkduin, Den Helder

Follow in the footsteps of Napoleon and visit the most exciting fort in the Netherlands. Learn about the fort’s history or go underwater in the walk-through tunnel and marvel at the aquarium.
